Make Games, Make Friends, Make A Difference
During last month’s Digital Storytelling meetup, we discussed the process of incorporating Ink story scripts within external game engines such as Construct. But did you know that you can also use Ink as a standalone tool to create narrative games?
This month’s gathering will cover the basics of how you can write your own browser-based interactive fiction with Ink. We will also talk about some of the special features that the Inky editor provides when exporting web games, including built-in support for adding images to your story.
Even if you weren’t able to attend our previous Ink discussion in May, you will still be able to follow along with this month’s lesson. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of Ink scripting while creating your own simple game, and you will also learn how to export your game and uploading it the web to share with others.
